The New York Giants will travel west to face a likely frustrated Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 8 for "Monday Night Football." The Giants are coming off of their second win of the season, while the Chiefs were blown out by the Tennesse Titans in Week 7 and held to just three points.
Still, the Giants will need all the help they can get, and they may get a couple of key offensive pieces back in the fold.
WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring) returned to practice Thursday. So did TE Evan Engram.

Not looking good for WR Kadarius Toney (ankle), WR Kenny Golladay (knee) and RB Saquon Barkley (ankle). Did work on the side with trainers. #giants #MNF
Though most expect the Kansas City offense to bounce back in a big way on Monday, K.C.'s defense is exploitable, to say the least. The Chiefs have allowed the third-most points in the NFL at 203 and are equally susceptible against the run and the pass.
The continued absence of Saquon Barkley is hurting the Giants, but if quarterback Daniel Jones can continue to build off of his solid rushing numbers (41 carries, 226 rushing yards, two touchdowns) and have at least Shepard and Engram to throw to, perhaps New York can keep things competitive.
Following their game against Kansas City, the Giants will host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 9 at 1 p.m. EST on Nov. 7, before taking their bye in Week 10.
