Is Hollywood Final Piece In Chiefs' Super Bowl Puzzle?

The Kansas City Chiefs offense has stuttered and spluttered along for most of the year but has managed to do enough to win games.

But over the last two weeks, the offense has seen a big uptick in form, and coincidently, that has coincided with the return of receiver Marquise "Hollywood" Brown.

In his two games this season, Brown has 45 and 46 yards as he has hit the ground running in Andy Reid's offense, and for Patrick Mahomes, having Brown on the field has put the finishing touches on the offense's efficiency.

"I think we built up to the perfect spot," Mahomes said. "We've gotten better and better before Hollywood got here, Xavier [Worthy] started playing better, being more confident, I got a better chemistry with him. Other guys that stepped up started making plays, and then you throw Hollywood in there, and it sets everybody perfectly in their roles, and you saw that [vs. Steelers]. When you have that many weapons out there, it's hard for defense to account for, and Hollywood's made a huge impact on this offense."

With Brown now getting his feet underneath him in the season after having such a long, extended break due to injury, he is getting acclimated to the offense's way of doing things, and while some stars might be rested for the Week 18 game against the Denver Broncos. Brown might be one who continues to get snaps in preparation for the postseason.

Already with a host of weapons, adding Brown into the mix for Mahomes gives him another avenue to go with the ball.

With Travis Kelce, DeAndre Hopkins, Xavier Worthy, Juju Smith-Schuster, and Noah Gray as the main pass-catchers, adding Brown suddenly forces the defense to pick and choose who they cover.

As the Chiefs hunt for a third successive Super Bowl title, Brown might be the ace in Reid's deck, and with each passing week, the speedy receiver continues to get better and better.

And that doesn't bode well for those aiming to halt this Chiefs juggernaut in the playoffs.
