Does Jadeveon Clowney want to play for the New York Jets? It seems that way.
The three-time Pro Bowler still hasn't signed a contract for the 2020 season, but apparently wants the Jets to "come get him."
New Jets safety Bradley McDougald recently spoke with Clowney, and he claims the 27-year-old wouldn't mind signing a deal with New York.
Spoke to my boy @clownejd today, told me to the tell the @nyjets to come get him!! Let’s make it happen pic.twitter.com/RDbNZGWUiN

Clowney and McDougald played together for the Seattle Seahawks last season. McDougald was recently traded to the Jets in the deal that sent Jamal Adams to Seattle.
While Clowney seemingly is out of New York's price range, he's been tied to the organization multiple times this offseason.
The market for Clowney has cooled off in recent weeks, and it's probably because his asking price is in the $17 million per season range. However, it's clearly not stopping players from making a push for him to join their squad.
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas also recently tried to lure Clowney to the organization as camps are opening up this week.
Clowney to New Orleans or I don’t want to hear it ⚜️

There's no telling where Clowney may end up, but with players opting out around the NFL amid the coronavirus pandemic, someone will be requesting his services.
