Zach Wilson told reporters Monday that he'd make "life hell" for any veteran quarterback competition that the New York Jets could bring in over the upcoming offseason.

When it was announced Friday that Mike White would be inactive for Week 18, head coach Robert Saleh said that veteran Joe Flacco would be getting the start in the regular season finale, with Wilson serving as the backup. Jets head coach Robert Saleh added last week that he would get the quarterback situation "fixed" in the offseason.
It's been speculated that Flacco could retire, and even though New York was already eliminated from playoff contention going into Week 18 against the Seattle Seahawks, Wilson didn't see a single snap during the contest (or in Week 17). The Jets lost six straight to end the campaign and finished last in the AFC East at 7-10.
Per SNYtv's Connor Hughes, Saleh didn't say Monday whether Wilson would be the team's starting quarterback next season but added "he will have a chance to compete."
Robert Saleh won't say if the #Jets need to add a veteran quarterback. He says that's a Joe Douglas question — who we will talk to later today #Jets
