Julio Jones reportedly wants to play with 'big-armed QB that can deliver the deep ball'

Julio Jones is expected to be traded as the Atlanta Falcons look to clear cap space. Now we have an idea of what sort of quarterback the All-Pro wide receiver is looking to team up with.

According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Jones reportedly wants to play with a "big-armed QB that can deliver the deep ball."

According to Pro Football Focus, Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson and Tennessee Titans signal-caller Ryan Tannehill are among the best deep passers in the NFL.

This latest report from Fowler certainly is interesting because the Seahawks have reportedly had discussions about a possible trade with the Falcons. Wilson and Jones have even reportedly spoken to discuss the possibility of playing together.

It was also reported that Jones prefers a trade to either the Titans or New England Patriots. Considering Cam Newton isn't much of a deep ball threat, the Patriots might not have much of a chance to land Jones. Newton's average depth of target last year was just 7.3 yards, tied for 34th in the league with New Orleans Saints backup Taysom Hill.

Jones reportedly requested a trade out of Atlanta earlier this offseason and essentially confirmed he wouldn't be returning to the Falcons during a phone call with FS1's Shannon Sharpe, saying, "I'm out of there."

The Falcons were initially seeking a first-round pick for Jones, but now are reportedly willing to settle for a second-round selection.
