Drake Maye turned in another dominant performance on Monday night as he led the New England Patriots to an easy win over Jaxson Dart and the New York Giants. The Pats entered the primetime matchup on the heels of nine straight wins, and there was no way they were giving up their streak against the lowly Giants.
Maye completed 24-of-31 passes on Monday for 282 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Thanks in large part to the Pro Bowl quarterback’s strong play, New England cruised to a 33-15 victory to make it 10 consecutive wins.
The Patriots improved to 11-2 after the win for the best record in the league. The Giants, on the other hand, dropped to 2-11 and remain at the bottom of the NFL.
Maye is having a career year in 2025. In 13 games played this season, the 23-year-old has produced 276-of-386 completed passes for 3,412 yards and 23 touchdowns. He’s also recorded 81 carries for 319 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
Maye kept his foot on the gas on Monday against New York. He finished with a 126 passer rating in the game, en route to making NFL history. The league took to social media to announce Maye’s latest career milestone.
"QBs to win 10 straight games with an 80+ passer rating in a single season prior to age 24 (Since 1950): HOF Dan Marino, Drake Maye," NFL+, the league’s official streaming service, posted on X.

The fact that he’s led the Pats to 10 straight wins is an incredible feat in itself. However, the fact that he’s logged a passer rating of 80 or higher in all 10 games is nothing short of legendary. Only two quarterbacks have achieved this feat in history. One of them is a Hall of Famer and the other is Maye.
There are no signs of Maye and the Patriots slowing down anytime soon. They will now carry over their momentum to their next game, which comes in the form of a matchup against reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.
New England gets its bye in Week 14, but will be back to host the Bills at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, Dec. 14. Kickoff for that one is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET.
