Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Indianapolis Colts in Week 12, winning 23-20 in overtime. It was a comeback win after the Chiefs trailed 20-9 in the fourth quarter and was the Chiefs' first victory since Week 8 over the Washington Commanders.

Mahomes finished the game completing 29 of 46 passes for 352 yards, zero touchdowns, one interception and a 77.4 passer rating. He was also sacked four times, losing a total of six yards.

During the second quarter, the Colts were penalized for two roughing-the-passer calls. The first came against defensive tackle Grover Stewart with four minutes, 38 seconds left in the half. The second was on defensive end Laiatu Latu with 32 seconds remaining.

Each play was originally an incomplete pass. However, it netted Kansas City 21 yards, with each drive ending in a field goal.

Along with each penalty leading to points for the Chiefs, Stewart and Latu could face more punishment. According to the NFL’s rules enforcement guidelines, league members examine plays identified as having potential infractions. Players can earn a $17,389 fine for roughing the passer, and the amount can be increased to $23,186 for a second offense in the same season.

On Saturday, the NFL announced its gameday accountability updates for Week 12, making an official decision on each defender. The good news for Stewart and Latu is that each avoided a fine. In total, the NFL handed out 13 fines, 10 fewer than in Week 11.

After not receiving further punishment, Stewart and Latu look to help the 8-3 Colts pick up a Week 13 win over the 6-5 Houston Texans on Sunday. Indianapolis hosts Houston at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.

As for Mahomes, since beating the Colts, he and the Chiefs (6-6) suffered a Thanksgiving Day loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Kansas City's next game is a Week 14 game against the Texans on "Sunday Night Football" on Dec. 7.
