Olympic gold-medal winner Noah Lyles calls out Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill

Olympic gold-medal winner Noah Lyles keeps taking jabs at Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Hill said he could beat the American sprinter in a race during a recent appearance on FanDuel TV's "Up & Adams." Lyles responded in an interview with NBC Sports, pretending he couldn’t remember who Hill was.

On a Saturday episode of the "Nightcap" podcast with Shannon Sharpe and Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, Lyles addressed Hill's claim again and didn't hold back.

"Tyreek is just chasing clout," Lyles said. "The man — anytime somebody fast comes up, he says he wants to race them. If he really wanted to race people, he would've showed up, like [Seattle Seahawks WR] DK Metcalf."

In 2023, Metcalf — who competed in the 100-meter dash at the 2021 USATF Golden Games — claimed he was trying to race Hill, but he was avoiding the challenge.

"The man dodges smoke," Lyles said of Hill. "I don't got time for that ... If he's serious about it, truly serious about it — I'm not talking about you just talking on the Internet, and you ain't actually coming to me and talking to my agent and saying, 'Let's set something up,' if you're seriously about it, you'll see me on the track."

Hill clapped back at Lyles on his X account, saying he should sign a contract and "lock in" for a 50-yard race.

Don't bank on Lyles and Hill scheduling a race anytime soon. While there has been a lot of chatter between the two stars, it probably won't amount to anything. It's also easy to argue Hill and Lyles like the attention, which may explain why they're still fueling their feud.
