Ever since superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill made his move to Miami, it’s been an interesting ride.

The former top receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs has now started his own podcast since becoming a Dolphin.

His first podcast heard him clear the air about how he felt about his former team and quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.

Now that the dust has settled from that podcast, questions are being asked about what was said.

However, the star quarterback has said very little about what Hill aired out in his podcast.

But that is good for him, as he should ignore the spin people will put on the Dolphins’ receiver’s first podcast.

Mahomes Kept His Comments Respectful And Short

Every reporter wanted that sound bite of the star quarterback trashing his former teammate.

However, what he gave was a nice and respectful response to questions about Hill.

While he said some of the stuff Hill said could be to get “his podcast some stuff and get it rolling,” he never trashed Hill.

He also said he and the Chiefs still love Hill there and that he and his former receiver seemed cool when they met during a Formula One race.

So while one side aired out grievances, the Chiefs star kept it respectful.

But while he kept things respectful, there’s one thing he needs to, and will, completely ignore.

Hill’s Comments On Mahomes’ Accuracy Won’t Bother Him

The biggest takeaway from the podcast was the Dolphins receiver talking up Tua Tagovailoa and claiming he’s more accurate than Mahomes.

However, the claim is that it needed to be said and wasn’t a shot at anyone.

But NFL fans and pundits are taking it as a direct shot at the Super Bowl champion quarterback in Kansas City.

With reporters pressing Mahomes on this comment, he only remained calm.

To him, it’s not about having the best completion percentage.

With Mahomes, it’s all about winning championships in Kansas City.

So while some might hope the comments were going to get to the young quarterback, he is shaking them off.

He’s ignoring them and focusing on winning games, which is the most important job as quarterback.

Not every team needs the best completion percentage or most accurate passer.

However, they all look for winning games to reach the NFL playoffs and the Super Bowl.

Could Hill Be Right With Those Comments?

While accuracy and completion percentage don’t win games, they can lose games.

If Hill is correct about everything, maybe Mahomes might need some work on his accuracy.

He won’t have Hill to rely on in 2022 but still has Travis Kelce, a sure-handed tight end.

However, if he overthrows balls, it could lead to interceptions.

While the Super Bowl winning QB shouldn’t overthink things, Hill at least gave fans something to study in 2022.

That thing is how the Kansas City quarterback can do without his top receiver and if his accuracy becomes an issue.

Fans are three short months away from finding out which side is right in this argument.
