Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs haven’t been able to find much consistency this season, dropping to 6-6 after a 31-28 loss to Quinnen Williams and the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13. While their playoff hopes took a significant hit, the Chiefs will look to stay in the postseason hunt in Week 14 when they face the Houston Texans.
Despite the loss, Mahomes had one of his better games of the season against the Cowboys, completing 23-of-34 passes for 261 yards and four touchdowns, along with 30 rushing yards. And through 12 games, the former Texas Tech quarterback is on track for one of the stronger seasons of his career, completing 285-of-441 passes for 3,238 yards, 22 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
And on Monday, the NFL released the initial fan voting results for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games, which account for one-third of the total vote alongside players and coaches. And as expected, after another strong season, Mahomes ranks fifth in fan votes among all quarterbacks and third in the AFC.
Ahead of Mahomes are Prescott, Buffalo Bills MVP Josh Allen and Los Angeles Rams star Matthew Stafford. But the league’s overall fan-vote leader as of Monday is New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye with 31,452 votes. Still, Mahomes will have time to catch up, as voting runs through Dec. 15.
Other notable Chiefs stars in the top ten at their respective position include center Creed Humphrey (1st), guard Trey Smith (4th), tight end Travis Kelce (3rd) and defensive tackle Chris Jones (10th).
Micah Parsons has the third-most votes of any player in the NFL after the first installment of Pro Bowl fan voting.
