Rasul Douglas reminds Aaron Rodgers of Hall of Famer Charles Woodson

Rasul Douglas had a storybook season in 2021. After bouncing between practice squads, he came to Green Bay in October and went on to lead the Packers in interceptions with five and become a Pro Bowl alternate. Arguably the biggest highlight of last season for Douglas was his game-sealing interception against an undefeated Arizona Cardinals team in Week 8. Douglas, who won a Super Bowl with the Eagles, has found a home in Green Bay after signing a three-year deal earlier this offseason.

Douglas has wasted no time in building off his magical 2021 season. Per The Athletic's Matt Schneidman, future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers had high praise for his teammate this week during training camp: "Rasul is one of the smartest guys I've ever played with. He reminds me, in the deepest respect, of Charles Woodson."

Woodson was one of the greatest defensive players in NFL history. He made nine Pro Bowls, earned eight All-Pro nods, won Defensive Player of the Year (2009) and led the NFL in interceptions twice en route to a Pro Football Hall of Fame induction in 2021.

In 2022, Douglas will be a crucial part of Green Bay's defense. He will help form arguably the best cornerback room in the NFL with an All-Pro in Jaire Alexander and talented second-year defender Eric Stokes (led all rookies in passes defensed in 2021).

If Douglas can tap into his 2021 form once again, offenses may struggle to pass against the Packers.
