The Jacksonville Jaguars head coaching search has reportedly stalled while they wait for Urban Meyer to make a decision regarding his potential future with the franchise. Meyer is considered the favorite to land the job. However, it doesn't sound like he's limiting his options to just the Jags.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Meyer has spoken with the Los Angeles Chargers about their vacant head coaching position, though the two sides have yet to conduct a formal interview.
As the spotlight shines on Urban Meyer and the #Jaguars, this is interesting: The #Chargers have continued to look into and explore Meyer as a candidate, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. The two sides have spoken recently.

If Meyer ends up formally interviewing with the Chargers, there's a genuine possibility that he could take over in Justin Herbert's second season in the NFL. However, the former Ohio State head coach could pass on coaching in the NFL altogether, which would leave both teams looking at even more candidates.
Meyer found tremendous success while coaching the Florida Gators and, more recently, the Ohio State Buckeyes. In seven seasons at Ohio State from 2012-18, Meyer went 83-9, winning the College Football Championship in 2014.
The Chargers fired Anthony Lynn after a disappointing 7-9 season.
