Report: Jaguars disgruntled DE Yannick Ngakoue parts ways with agent

At the beginning of July, Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue reiterated that he doesn't want to remain in Jacksonville and wants to be traded.

As of August, Ngakoue still hasn't been moved by the Jags, and as a result, he has parted ways with his agent, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Since Ngakoue didn't sign a long-term deal with Jacksonville by the July 15 deadline, he's only able to play under the one-year tag worth $17.788 million this coming season. He held out of training camp last year before making his contract demands know to the organization.

It's not surprising Ngakoue wants to be traded from the Jaguars. Jacksonville traded Calais Campbell, A.J. Bouye and Nick Foles — and that's not all. Running back Leonard Fournette also reportedly wants a trade, so the Jaguars aren't going to be very good for the next few years and possibly longer.

Back in March, several teams inquired about Ngakoue, including the Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks and New York Jets. If the Jags really wanted trade him, it doesn't appear that it would be too difficult.

Ngakoue has recorded eight or more sacks in each of his four seasons in Jacksonville, so it's no surprise that many teams are interested in the former Pro Bowler.
