Report: Tampa Bay Buccaneers not interested in Antonio Brown

On Tuesday, multiple reports emerged that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be interested in acquiring controversial wide receiver Antonio Brown.

Brown played alongside Tampa Bay quarterback Tom Brady for one game last fall when the two were with the New England Patriots.

However, ESPN's Dianna Russini refuted those stories via a one-sentence tweet:

Even though the soon-to-be 32-year-old wideout is likely facing a suspension once he puts pen to paper on a contract with any club, he's nevertheless been linked with both the Baltimore Ravens and Seattle Seahawks this month.

On Monday, The Athletic's Jay Glazer wrote that "a bunch of teams" have Brown on their radars ahead of the July 4 holiday weekend.

Brown, a four-time First-Team All-Pro who led the NFL in touchdown receptions (15) with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2018, was cut by the Patriots last September following his only appearance with the franchise after disturbing and threatening text messages he allegedly sent to a woman who claimed he sexually assaulted her were publicized.

Brown pleaded no contest to multiple charges regarding a non-related January incident earlier this month.
