The NFL trade deadline is just a few weeks away and as always the teams that are out of contention are fielding calls from the contenders about their stars that have no place in their future.
As it stands, three well-known stars are reportedly "drawing interest" ahead of the deadline. According to The Athletic's Dianna Russini, the three players are Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, Miami Dolphins linebacker Jaelan Phillips and New York Jets running back Breece Hall.
"Several names that I’m hearing are drawing interest and calls ahead of the trade deadline: Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers / Dolphins LB Jaelan Phillips / Jets RB Breece Hall

Meyers started his NFL career in New England, averaging nearly 800 yards per season over his first three years with the team. Since joining the Raiders, he's proving to be a solid starter, enjoying career highs in receptions, yards and touchdowns between 2023 and 2024.
He may not be Ja'Marr Chase or Justin Jefferson, but for a team in need of a major boost at WR3 or even a suitable WR2, Meyers can probably get the job done.
A former first-round pick by the Dolphins, Phillips is a standard linebacker with an ability to get after the quarterback - when he's healthy. Unfortunately, Phillips wasn't consistently healthy between 2023 and 2024 and while he's started every game for Miami this year, his pass rushing production hasn't returned with him.
In 52 games, Phillips has 24 sacks, 57 QB hits, four fumble recoveries, seven passes defended and 169 tackles.
Arguably the best running back without any long-term job security right now, Hall has been languishing on the Jets with a bad team and worse coaching.
When healthy and used properly, he's one of the most dynamic and explosive players in both the rushing and passing game this side of Christian McCaffrey. But with the way he's been used over the past couple of years, you'd never know it.
In 46 games, Hall has over 4,100 yards from scrimmage and 22 touchdowns. His 4.7 yards per carry this season and his best since his 2022 rookie season.
Most importantly, he is a free agent after this season and is unlikely to the Jets. The Jets may be more motivated to move Hall than any of the other teams on Russini's list.

Will any of these three players be moved before the deadline?
