Tom Brady shuts down NFL comeback rumors on Twitter

Tom Brady insisted Tuesday that he's not considering coming out of retirement for the second time in as many years, explaining that he wouldn't have time due to a recent pet adoption.

During Monday's edition of the "Rich Eisen Show," NFL Network's Rich Eisen said that he heard during the NFL Scouting Combine that some believed the Miami Dolphins could possibly lure "TB12" out of retirement, depending on the health of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Brady announced his second retirement at the beginning of February on the one-year anniversary of his first retirement announcement, saying that this time, the decision was "for good."

Aside from the recent kitten adoption, the "GOAT" teased in the early days following his February announcement that he would now have time to his new movie, "80 For Brady," four times if he wanted to. The sports comedy is produced by the 45-year-old three-time MVP, as well as Donna Gigliotti, and is based on the true story of four lifelong friends (and Brady-loving seniors) who make a trip to Super Bowl LI in 2017 to see the New England Patriots play the Atlanta Falcons.

The one-year anniversary of Brady's "un-retirement" is on Monday.
