USC Locks in Future Visit From Elite Top 100 Talent From Florida

The USC Trojans are attempting to persuade an elite top 100 talent to go cross country and head to L.A. USC has now locked in a future visit from the four-star prospect hailing from Florida.

Defensive lineman Kendell Guervil told Chris Trevino of 247Sports Tuesday that he's got a summertime trip to L.A. coming. The Trojans are set to host the star from Fort Myers, Fla., on June 20.

Guervil first became more interested in USC on Jan. 21. Run game coordinator and USC defensive line head coach Eric Henderson flew out to the Sunshine State to visit with Guervil. The relationship ignited from there between "Hendo" and Guervil.

Guervil told Trevino that he came away impressed with the connection he began to build with Henderson.

"USC is amazing, man. Me and Coach Henderson, it's a different kind of connection. Every time he come up here or we are on the phone it's a great connection. I just love him," Guervil said. "I'm dying to get up to there to USC and check it out."

Guervil is a massive and powerful prospect at 6-foot-5, 310-pounds. He's the nation's ninth-ranked defensive lineman for the 2026 class.

The interior defensive lineman snatched 88 total tackles last season, including 12 behind the line of scrimmage. He also forced out two fumbles. If he chooses USC, he'll get a chance to be coached by a man who once helped Aaron Donald win Super Bowl LVI with the Los Angeles Rams.

USC won't be Guervil's only future college trip. Alabama will be on deck first for a May 6 visit. He's also given in-state option Florida a chance, as the Gators will host him on May 13. He'll then trek to Athens to visit Georgia on May 30.

But USC, as of now, will be his final collegiate stop ahead of his senior season.
