Watch: Eli Manning roasts himself for 'boring look,' 'dad look'

Former New York Giants quarterback and two-time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning continues to generate buzz for what he chooses to wear in certain situations.

As explained in an ESPN piece, social media personality and luxury boutique salesperson Maurice Kamara has built a massive social-media following and reputation for stopping people throughout New York City to ask them about their outfits on any given day. Kamara's "The People Gallery" account recently featured none other than Manning.

"I'm Eli Manning from New Jersey," the 41-year-old casually introduces himself for the clip. "This is called the boring look," he adds about his golf shirt, zip-up vest, and lowkey sneakers. "This is called the dad look. It's a look where you're always able to go play golf at a last minute..."

ESPN notes that Kamara has over 500,000 combined followers on the Instagram and TikTok accounts for The People Gallery.

Manning, meanwhile, recently went viral after he pretended to try out as a walk-on for the Penn State Nittany Lions football team as an unknown talent named "Chad Powers" for the ESPN "Eli's Places" program. Penn State has since confirmed it will start selling Powers-related merchandise on Saturday.

Some may question if Manning deserves enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame down the road, but it seems there's little doubt he's having tons of fun during his retirement from playing.
