Watch: Kelly Stafford doing intense boxing workouts less than four months after brain surgery
Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

Kelly Stafford, wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, underwent a 12-hour surgery to remove a brain tumor back on April 21 of this year.

You’d never know it, based on what she’s doing physically to help herself heal less than four months later.

Stafford shared videos of herself doing intense boxing workouts, writing that “Boxing is the best workout I can do. It’s not only so tiring physically, but for me, it’s exhausting mentally. My brain is having to figure out all these moving parts.. and at a very fast pace.”

Stafford mentioned this is her third day boxing and that “Sometimes I get dizzy, but I know that’s my brain learning and it’s good for me to push it.”

That’s what we call a championship mentality. Kudos, Kelly Stafford. You’re an inspiration to us all.
