Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson could be recapturing his elite form.

Late in the third quarter of Sunday's home game against the Cleveland Browns, Wilson dropped back and chucked a 20-yard touchdown pass to tight end Pat Freiermuth. Wilson placing the ball into a tight window made the throw even more impressive.

After Wilson recovered from a calf injury, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin gave him the starting nod despite backup Justin Fields posting a 4-2 record in the team's first six games.

Thus far, it looks like Tomlin's decision was the correct one. Wilson went 5-1 through his first six starts, completing 65.8% of his passes for 1,626 yards, 10 touchdowns and three picks. He also logged an above-average 57.1 QBR.

Wilson's resurgence is helping him salvage his career. He made nine Pro Bowls and won a Super Bowl in his first 10 seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. However, the 36-year-old had a disastrous two-year tenure in Denver, going 11-19 as the Broncos' starting QB.
