Watch: Tom Brady tried to recruit Aaron Judge to play tight end for Buccaneers

Tom Brady hasn't been the same without Rob Gronkowski. To be fair, Gronkowski is a 6-foot-6 monster with the propensity to run really fast and catch just about anything thrown his way, so he's tough to move on from. That much can be excused.

But does Brady really miss Gronk so much that he's getting desperate enough to recruit baseball players over to Tampa Bay? Apparently, that was the case before the Buccaneers took on the New Orleans Saints on "Monday Night Football."

Video evidence would suggest that Brady tried everything he could to get Judge to suit up for Tampa Bay on Monday Night.

"Do you want to play tight end for us tonight?" Brady asked the 6-foot-7 centerfielder.

As it turned out, Brady didn't need Judge to get the win. It wasn't a pretty game, but he ultimately led a game-winning drive, bringing the Buccaneers back from a 16-3 fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Saints, 17-16.

Brady also got plenty of help from rookie tight end Cade Otton, who caught six passes, including a fourth-quarter touchdown.

Still, it was fun to think about a potential Brady-to-Judge connection. We know Judge can bash home runs, but with his size and athleticism, he'd probably be a good NFL tight end as well.

Some guys just have it all, don't they?
