As with the pending NHL unrestricted free agent forwards, there are some interesting players on this list. Not all will make it to the July 1st free agency, but there are plenty of defensemen that will generate some interest.
There is a mix of left and right-handed shots, but not really any game breakers. There likely aren’t any players who will get max term, but some may earn four or five-year deals.
