The Chicago Blackhawks continued trimming their training camp roster Monday with a trio of moves. Forwards David Gust, Mike Hardman, and Brett Seney all cleared waivers and were assigned to the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL.

All three players spent most of last season with Rockford but saw short stints with the NHL club.

Gust broke out with a career-high 59 points (26 goals, 33 assists) across 65 games for the IceHogs in 2022-23. He added one point — his first NHL goal — in four games for the Blackhawks.

Hardman dropped off a bit last season, posting 18 points (five goals, 13 assists) in 58 games at the AHL level. The Boston College product also appeared in eight games for the Blackhawks but did not record a point.

Seney enjoyed a solid first season in the organization, posting 54 points (23 goals, 31 assists) in 59 games for the IceHogs. The journeyman forward chipped in one goal in seven NHL contests.

Following these moves, the Blackhawks training camp roster now stands at 31 players (20 forwards, eight defensemen, and three goalies).
