Adam Pelech will not be in the lineup tonight for the New York Islanders tonight as they take on the Carolina Hurricanes, according to Islanders head coach Lane Lambert.

Pelech exited the Islanders’ game on Thursday against the Washington Capitals and did not return. His injury is being described as lower-body by the team, and he is considered day-to-day.

At morning skate, the Islanders had Sebastian Aho paired next to Pelech’s usual defense partner, Noah Dobson, with Samuel Bolduc filling the vacant spot.

Projected Islanders Defense Pairs:

Alexander Romanov-Ryan Pulock

Sebastian Aho – Noah Dobson

Samuel Bolduc – Scott Mayfield
