While Connor Bedard made a surprise early return to action on Thursday, the Chicago Blackhawks still have a handful of injuries. As the team gathered for practice on Friday, a few injury updates came to light. Here's the latest on Anthony Beauvillier, Seth Jones, and Taylor Raddysh.

Anthony Beauvillier Nearing Return

Let's start with the good news. Beauvillier should be back in the mix soon as he was a full participant in Friday's practice. He had previously been skating with the side group while recovering from a left wrist injury he suffered on Jan. 2.

Head coach Luke Richardson said Beauvillier won't play Saturday against the Ottawa Senators, but there's a chance he'll return Monday when the Blackhawks visit the Carolina Hurricanes.

Beauvillier had six points (two goals, four assists) in 15 games with the Blackhawks before going on the shelf.

Seth Jones Sits Out

Jones and his defensive partner Alex Vlasic had a rough go of it on Thursday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. After a -4 performance, Jones didn't take the ice for Friday's practice.

However, the Blackhawks dubbed it a maintenance day for Jones. Unless he's a surprise scratch on Saturday, there shouldn't be cause for concern regarding the veteran blueliner.

Taylor Raddysh Aggravates Quad

Raddysh may be the next Blackhawks forward to go on the shelf (again). The soon-to-be 26-year-old missed Friday's practice due to a right quad injury.

Raddysh is enduring a rough season riddled with injury and underperformance. He has just 11 points in 49 games and has missed time due to a left groin strain. It's certainly not the way he expected to follow up a career-best 37-point 2022-23 campaign.

Raddysh's status for Saturday's game remains unclear.
