The Chicago Blackhawks made a series of roster moves on Saturday morning. Most notably, the team placed forward Jujhar Khaira and defenseman Riley Stillman on injured reserve.

Khaira is dealing with lower back issues and his placement on IR is retroactive to Jan. 17. Stillman has a shoulder ailment, something that has been nagging him. However, he likely agitated it during his fight with Brandon Duhaime of the Wild on Friday night.

Beyond Jujhar Khaira and Riley Stillman going on the shelf, the Blackhawks assigned forward Mike Hardman to the Rockford IceHogs. Brett Connolly now occupies that spot on the active roster.

In a pair of depth moves, the Blackhawks also added defenseman Wyatt Kalynuk and goalie Cale Morris to the taxi squad.

Chicago is back in action Saturday night for the second game of a home-and-home with Minnesota. Puck drop from St. Paul is at 8 PM CST and the game will air on NBC Sports Chicago.
