Capitals' Anthony Mantha fined $5K for colliding with Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask

Washington Capitals forward Anthony Mantha has been fined $5,000 for colliding with Boston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask during Game 4 of their first-round series, the NHL Department of Player Safety announced Saturday:

Mantha was assessed a minor penalty for goaltender interference after he barreled into Rask with just over six minutes remaining in the third period.

The Bruins ended up capitalizing on the ensuing power play with a goal from Matt Grzelcyk to make it 4-1.

Rask finished the game after taking the hit from Mantha and stopped 19 of the 20 shots he faced. The only goal he allowed was off a weird deflection in front of the net.

Boston took a 3-1 series lead and has the opportunity to win the series on Sunday in Washington in Game 5.
