Colton Parayko scored the game-winning goal in overtime as the St. Louis Blues defeated the visiting Dallas Stars 4-3 on Saturday.

Jordan Kyrou had a goal and two assists for the Blues, who are now 2-0 under interim coach Drew Bannister.

Brandon Saad and Kevin Hayes also scored for the Blues. Torey Krug and Robert Thomas each had two assists for St. Louis, and Jordan Binnington made 20 saves.

Mason Marchment, Ty Dellandrea and Evgenii Dadonov scored for the Stars. Scott Wedgewood made 30 saves.

Dallas scored twice in the first 6:47 of the game to take the upper hand. Marchment put the Stars up 1-0 by finishing a three-on-two break after the Blues turned the puck over in the neutral zone.

Tyler Seguin gave Marchment an open net to shoot into with a deft backhand cross-ice pass to the right wing.

Dellandrea made it 2-0 during a goalmouth scramble. After Stars forward Sam Steel crashed into Binnington, Dellandrea shot the puck over the prone netminder from the left circle.

The Blues unsuccessfully challenged the goal for goaltender interference. The officials ruled that Steel was pushed into Binnington.

Saad cut the Dallas lead to 2-1 with a power-play goal, firing a one-time shot from the left circle off Kyrou's centering pass.

The Blues outshot the Stars 16-6 in the second period and surged ahead 3-2.

Kyrou tied the score at 2-2 just 1:36 into the period, as Krug sprung him for a breakaway with an outlet pass.

The Blues took a 3-2 lead with 3:14 left in the period. Alexey Toropchenko's shot attempt caromed off the end boards to Hayes, who drove to the right post for a tap-in.

Dadonov tied the score at 3-3 with a high tip of Miro Heiskanen's shot from the right point with 6:51 left to play in regulation.

St. Louis' Pavel Buchnevich hit the post with 1:15 left to play, so the game went into overtime.
