The Arizona Coyotes have announced that they released defensemen Peter DiLiberatore, Hunter Drew, forward Cameron Hebig and goaltender Jared Moe from their tryout agreements, stated by the club yesterday.

With DiLiberatore, he has bounced around the ECHL and the American Hockey League last season and is now a free agent after his professional tryout stint with the “Desert Dogs” ended.

Last year, the 6’0″ defenseman played 53 games and recorded 9 points as he split time with AHL clubs, the Henderson Silver Knights and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, before heading down to the ECHL with the Savannah Ghost Pirates and Wheeling Nailers.

The Coyotes released Drew from his PTO as well and he also can find another NHL opportunity elsewhere.

In the offseason, Drew signed with the Tucson Roadrunners, the ‘Yotes AHL affiliate, after having 11 points in 60 AHL games between the Rockford Ice Hogs and San Diego Gulls in 2022-23.

Also in the summer, the Roadrunners resigned Hebig, but if another NHL team is interested, he can sign there.

As a Roadrunner, Hebig 9 goals and 10 assists in 65 games last year. He played three seasons with the AHL franchise.

As a former sixth-round draft pick by the Winnipeg Jets in 2018 , Moe split time with the University of Minnesota and University of Wisconsin during his Division 1 NCAA. Last season, Moe’s record was 10-17 with a .898 save percentage and 3.31 goals-against-average in 30 games for Wisconsin.

Before he signed his now-terminated amateur tryout with Arizona, Moe signed a minor league deal with ECHL outfit, the Idaho Steelheads last week.
