The Arizona Coyotes announced a flurry of professional tryout agreements on Wednesday; among those are former first-round pick Olli Juolevi, Ryan Dzingel, Austin Strand and Peter DiLiberatore.

Juolevi, a former first-round pick by the Vancouver Canucks, spent the 2022-23 season with the San Diego Gulls in the American Hockey League (AHL), where he tallied one goal and 13 assists in 38 games. Over the course of three seasons, Juolevi has appeared in 41 games with the Canucks, Florida Panthers and Detroit Red Wings, where he has registered three points.

Dzingel, 31, returns to the Coyotes for a second stint after appearing in 26 games with the club in 2021-22, where he registered seven points. He was claimed by the San Jose Sharks off waivers. Dzingel spent the 2022-23 season with the Chicago Wolves in the AHL; he registered 11 points in 22 games. In 404 NHL games, Dzingel has registered 188 points.

DiLiberatore was initially selected by the Vegas Golden Knights No. 180 in the 2018 NHL Draft; he spent parts of three seasons in the AHL with the Henderson Silver Knights. During the 2022-23 campaign, he split time between the Savannah Ghost Pirates and the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL. He registered four points in a combined 23 games.

Strand, 26, spent the 2022-23 season split between the Gulls and the Rochester Americans. He appeared in five games with the Anaheim Ducks, going pointless. The former WHL Champion has appeared in 26 NHL regular-season contests, registering three assists.

Meanwhile, the Coyotes have also offered PTO contracts to Hunter Drew, Patrick Harper, Cameron Hebig, Micah Miller, Austin Poganski, Colin Theisen and Reece Vitelli.

The Coyotes open up their grueling preseason next weekend, where half of the team will fly to Melbourne, Australia, to play the Los Angeles Kings. The teams will play each other twice on Sept. 22 and 23 at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. Meanwhile, the other half of the team will fly to Missouri to play the St. Louis Blues.
