Vancouver Canucks’ goalie Thatcher Demko, Toronto Maple Leafs’ forward William Nylander and Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar are the top vote-getters as of Jan. 9 for the 2024 NHL All-Star Game.

Demko, who has a 20-8-1- record with a .916 SV% and 2.54 GAA, is the total of 788,278. Nylander, who signed an eight-year, $92 million contract extension with the Maple Leafs on Monday, leads all skaters with nearly 750,000 votes. Makar, who is second is scoring among defenseman with 48 points (nine goals, 39 assists) leads all blueliners in voting.

More than 20 million votes have been cast in the first five days of voting. Voting is still open at NHL.com/vote or via X (formerly Twitter) through Thursday, Jan. 11. On Wednesday, Jan. 10, every vote you cast on X will count twice.

Fans will select 12 additional players (eight skaters and four goalies) to the 44-man All-Star roster. The first 32 All-Stars were selected by the NHL’s Hockey Operations Department. One Player was chosen from each NHL team.

The 12 fan selections will be announced on Saturday, Jan. 13. Six of the final 12 will be announced on ABC, ESPN+ and Sportsnet during the first intermission of the 1 p.m. ET game between the New York Rangers and Washington Capitals.

The remaining six will be announced on Sportsnet and NHL Network in the pregame show before the 7 p.m. ET game between the Colorado Avalanche and Toronto Maple Leafs.

Voting closes on Thursday, Jan. 11, at 11:59:59 p.m. EST online at NHL.com/vote and via X (formerly Twitter). All X votes will be combined with online vote totals.

The game will take place in Toronto on Saturday, Feb. 3 at Scotiabank Arena.
