Lukas Dostal made 29 saves to lead the Anaheim Ducks to a 2-1 victory over the visiting Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night.

Alex Killorn and Ryan Strome scored for Anaheim, which won for the third time in four games. It was a rare home win for the Ducks, who entered the contest with the worst home record in the NHL (9-21-1).

Mark Kastelic scored for Ottawa, which took its fifth straight loss. Mads Sogaard finished with 14 saves for the Senators, who fell to 8-18-1 on the road, the worst road record in the Eastern Conference.

Ottawa jumped out to a 1-0 lead at the 2:44 mark of the first period on Kastelic's third goal of the season. Artem Zub got the primary assist, firing a long wrist shot from above the right circle that Kastelic deflected into the far left corner.

Anaheim, which registered just three shots on goal in the opening period, nearly tied it near the end of the frame, but Frank Vatrano's slap slot from the high slot clanged off the right post.

The Ducks tied it at the 4:42 mark of the second period. Strome's crossing pass from the right circle caromed off the skate of Ottawa defenseman Jake Sanderson and through Sogaard's pads for his 10th goal.

Killorn scored what would prove to be the game-winner at 3:27 of the third period. He redirected Olen Zellweger's pass into the low slot, knocking it into the top right corner of the net for his 10th goal.

Ottawa picked up a penalty for too many men on the ice with 1:34 left but still pulled Sogaard for an extra attacker. The Senators then peppered Dostal with four shots, including a point-blank wrist shot by Tim Stutzle on which Dostal made a pad save. Thomas Chabot then picked up a holding penalty with 40.8 seconds left to give the Ducks a two-man advantage as they ran out the clock.
