San Jose Sharks forward Oskar Lindblom, Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Caleb Jones and Philadelphia Flyers forward Wade Allison were among the 42 players placed on waivers by NHL teams on Friday.

Lindblom, 27, has played 336 career NHL games, scoring 56 goals and 56 assists for 112 points. He spent his first five seasons with the Flyers, scoring a career-high 17 goals, 16 assists and 33 points in 2018-19.

Lindblom signed a two-year, $5 million deal with the Sharks in July 2022. He scored six goals and nine assists for 15 points in 73 games during the 2022-23 season.

Jones, 26, was drafted in the fourth round by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. Between the Oilers and Chicago Blackhawks, Jones has played 217 career NHL games, scoring 14 goals and 36 assists for 50 points.

After becoming an unrestricted free agent following the 2022-23 season, Jones signed a one-year deal with the Hurricanes.

Allison, 25, was drafted by the Flyers in the second round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. The 2022-23 campaign was his first full season with the Flyers, during which he scored nine goals and six assists for 15 points.
