The Vegas Golden Knights assigned goaltender Michael Hutchinson as well as defenseman Daniil Miromanov to the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League (AHL) on Saturday afternoon.

Hutchinson, 32, was called up to the Golden Knights this past Tuesday to back up Laurent Brossoit for each of the team’s two past games, as Adin Hill was dealing with an undisclosed ailment. However, Hill is now ready to return, resulting in Hutchinson’s demotion. He will return to the Silver Knights, where in seven games this season he has posted a 2.74 goals against average along with a .897 save percentage and a 1-5-1 record.

Miromanov, 25, was recalled in early December by the Golden Knights after starting the season out in the AHL. The Russian defenseman was able to produce some offense in his second go round at the NHL level with two goals and six points in 14 games, but suffered an injury on Feb. 20 and was placed on injured reserve days later. This move suggests he is healthy once again, and will be sent back to the Silver Knights and continue to serve as a depth option in case of injury. Prior to his call up in December, he had played 17 games at the AHL level, scoring six goals and 13 points.
