Jamie Drysdale made his Philadelphia Flyers debut in last night’s 3-2 shootout win over the Montreal Canadiens. Dryslade of course was dealt in the shocking blockbuster deal that sent Flyers top prospect Cutter Gauthier out west to Anaheim in exchange for the young right-shot defender.

In his first game donning the Orange and Black, the Toronto, Ontario product notched one assist and logged 19:46 minutes of ice time. Frank Seravalli and Tyler Yaremchuk discussed Drysdale’s Philly debut.

Tyler Yaremchuk: Jamie Drysdale made his debut with the Philadelphia Flyers last night, slapping a letter grade on the debut. I’d give him an A or an A+ I thought he looked great, Frank.

Frank Seravalli: Yeah it was certainly a good grade for his debut with the Flyers. A lot has happened, you go on a road trip with the Anaheim Ducks and you are in Nashville and then get the call about being traded, not a big flight to Philly but your whole life is left back in California so you’re thinking “what does this mean, now I got to sell my house, how do I pack up” and for him to settle in and play some powerplay time with the Flyers where you’ll be stalwart for the next 10 years and pickup a point, have some unreal Grade A chances in overtime that he just missed on.

Frank Seravalli: The Flyers fanbase seemed really excited to have him and he seemed juiced up by the opportunity to play for the Flyers and all things considered of what’s happened around him in the last 24-48 hours certainly high marks for his debut with Philly.
