Some last-minute lineup adjustments for the Toronto Maple Leafs heading into their game on Wednesday night.

Multiple reports say defenseman TJ Brodie is listed as a healthy scratch, as Conor Timmins will check into the lineup against the Washington Capitals.

Also, forward Ryan Reaves will not play due to an eye injury, with Noah Gregor taking his spot in the lineup.

This will be just the second game that Brodie has missed this season. Back in mid-December, he had to sit out a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins due to an illness.

In 66 games, the 33-year-old has posted 18 assists, with a plus-14 rating.

This will be the first game action for Timmins since Jan. 24, as he was diagnosed with mononucleosis in February. Timmins was fully cleared to play earlier this month.

The 25-year-old was unable to play the first month or so of the season as a preseason lower-body injury kept him out, long-term. In just 16 games, Timmins has registered a goal and five assists.

Ryan Reaves injured his eye when he was poked during a fight with Nicolas Deslauriers of the Philadelphia Flyers during Toronto’s 4-3 loss on Tuesday night. He has had injury problems throughout the 2023-24 campaign, and was briefly placed on injured reserve in January.

In 39 appearances, the 37-year-old has notched three goals and an assist.

Gregor has been a healthy scratch for stretches throughout the season, with his last appearance coming this past Saturday against the Carolina Hurricanes. The 25-year-old has played in 56 games this season, scoring five goals and six assists.

The Leafs (38-20-9) are third in the Atlantic Division, five points ahead of the fourth-place Tampa Bay Lightning, but 12 behind the Boston Bruins for first place.
