When he left the Habs at the trade deadline, Jake Allen got off to a roaring start with the New Jersey Devils.

Unfortunately, his success didn’t continue for the rest of the year. He finished his 2023-2024 season with an efficiency average of .900 and a goals-against average of 3.11 in 13 games with the Devils.

Since his season ended, he’s been busy. The former Habs star has been spotted on television, among other things.

The former Canadien goaltender continues his off-season dedicated to hockey.

Tonight, he was spotted at the Verdun Auditorium with his two daughters to attend the FPHL game between Montreal and New York.

The women’s team from his current team against the women’s team from his former team. I wonder which team they’re rooting for…

Having two young daughters and being a professional goalie, it’s only natural that he attends these kinds of events. After all, he wants to prove/show his daughters that hockey is as accessible to them as it is to little guys their age.

This new professional league has a lot of positives, that’s for sure.

As for the game itself, the locals made short work of the New York team. A 5-2 victory for Allen and his girls.

Marie-Philip Poulin’s team thus consolidates its position in second place in the league and qualifies for the playoffs .
