Calle Jarnkrok and John Tavares each had one goal and two assists to lift the Toronto Maple Leafs past the host Philadelphia Flyers 6-2 on Sunday.

Conor Timmins added one goal and one assist for the Maple Leafs, who have won two straight.

Auston Matthews, Zach Aston-Reese and Timothy Liljegren scored one goal apiece and Mitch Marner contributed three assists.

Maple Leafs goaltender Matt Murray made 34 saves.

Travis Konecny and Nicolas Deslauriers scored one goal each for the Flyers, who had their season-best four-game winning streak snapped. Flyers goaltender Carter Hart stopped 29 shots.

The Maple Leafs went ahead 1-0 at 9:51 of the first period when Jarnkrok received a crisp pass in front from Marner and scored.

Matthews nearly gave the Maple Leafs a two-goal advantage, but Hart made a stellar save at 13:17. Philadelphia's best scoring chance came at 16:36 when James van Riemsdyk skated free in front but couldn't capitalize.

Following a costly turnover by Tony DeAngelo, Aston-Reese took advantage and put the Maple Leafs ahead 2-0 at 17:44. Just 16 seconds later, Konecny connected for his team-leading 21st goal to close within 2-1.

Toronto took a 3-1 lead at 7:01 of the second period when Timmins recorded his first career goal.

Philadelphia struck back quickly when Deslauriers snapped a 31-game streak without a goal at 8:50 to slice the deficit to 3-2. The Flyers were soon awarded a power play, but Liljegren fired a short-handed goal under Hart's pads at 10:07 for a 4-2 lead.

Tavares corralled the puck after another Flyers turnover and gave the Maple Leafs a 5-2 advantage at 12:22.

Toronto controlled tempo and possession midway through the third and didn't allow the Flyers to get closer.

Philadelphia's Joel Farabee was so frustrated after one shift that he shattered his stick against the boards.

Matthews scored on the power play at 13:13 as the shot appeared to deflect off Travis Sanheim.
