Some roster adjustments for the team from the State of Hockey.

On Monday, the Minnesota Wild announced they are placing forward Marcus Foligno on injured reserve.

The team also announced that forward Connor Dewar is being activated off IR.

Dewar has been out of the lineup since Jan. 19, when he left a game against the Florida Panthers in the second period after taking a hit from Panthers’ defenseman Gustav Forsling.

The 24-year-old center was placed on injured reserve shortly thereafter with a lower-body injury. He has missed the last six games, in which the Wild have gone 4-2, picking up a win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday.

In 45 games prior to the injury, Dewar had scored seven goals and two assists, last finding the back of the net on Jan. 15 against the New York Islanders.

It was announced on Sunday that Foligno was not going to be joining the Wild on their quick two-game trip out west due to a lower-body injury. It is unknown when, or where, the 32-year-old was injured. Foligno missed three games at the beginning of January with a lower-body injury.

Foligno also missed a game a few weeks ago due to illness.

He can return as early as Saturday, when Minnesota returns home to host his former team, the Buffalo Sabres. In 47 games this season, the veteran has notched nine goals and 11 assists.

The move to place Foligno on IR allows room for forward Adam Beckman to get into the lineup. The 22-year-old was called up from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Iowa Wild, on Sunday. Beckman has not played with the big club this season, though he has appeared 12 times with the Wild over the last two years.

The Wild (23-23-5) are set to face the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday night, before visiting the Arizona Coyotes on Wednesday. They are sixth in the Central Division, 16 points back of the Winnipeg Jets for third, and seven points out of the last Wild Card spot in the Western Conference.
