NHL bets: Two point parlays to get our hockey week started

There are only four games for Monday's NHL slate, but there seem to be goal-scoring opportunities in each one. We touch 'em all here with four plays that look to be in strong spots to get involved in the fun.

.75u: Claude Giroux & Joe Pavelski points (+155 DraftKings)

I'm liking both Ottawa and Dallas to score 3+ goals today, and while I may also end up combining those team totals, I'd like a piece of the players who seem poised to produce.

Claude Giroux has been absolutely rolling lately with a point in eight straight games and 12 of his past 14. That includes plenty of road success, where Giroux has logged eight points in his past eight. Giroux also sure loves facing Washington, with 10 points in his last six meetings.

We pair with Joe Pavelski, who is back on Dallas' top line and top power play alongside Jason Robertson and Roope Hintz. The move has rejuvenated Pavelski's production, with a point in three straight games. He has five points in his past three against the Islanders, a team with serious defensive issues right now.

.75u: Adrian Kempe & Jared McCann points (+189 FanDuel)

These are my two favorite spots for a power-play goal tonight and the two players I like best to get involved on any man-up chances. Yes, I'm likely to grab their power-play points as well in some form, but I think spreading the net to cover any and all points recorded is a nice way to begin this read.

Kempe has nine points in his past 10 games and six in his past four. He is plenty familiar with Edmonton, having logged a point in eight straight meetings (11 total).

As for McCann, the Kraken's top line winger has been rock solid, recording a point in seven straight and 13 of his last 14. At home he's been even more consistent, with 13 points in his past seven. He has a point in two straight against Boston, you could play him straight if you want at -120, I'll opt for a larger payout and assume the risk that comes with a two-leg parlay.
