NHL Monday bets: Point prop and a parlay

There are four games in the NHL tonight, and while I don't love any of them for total goals or overs, I do have my eyes on two prop plays.

Let's get right to the spots for this Monday evening.

Ryan Hartman point (-118 FanDuel)

I like the Minnesota Wild to score tonight against a Vegas Golden Knights team seriously struggling.

Minnesota is averaging 3.4 goals scored per game in its last five at home, while Vegas is letting in 4.6 goals per game in its last five on the road.

Ryan Hartman centers the top line in Minnesota, and I find these odds to be quite generous for a member of a top line in a plus matchup.

Hartman has a point in seven of his last nine games and has recorded one point in both games against Vegas this season.

Love the recent consistency and the matchup, give me a Hartman point tonight.

Leon Draisaitl/Filip Forsberg over 2.5 SOG parlay (+165 DK)

I've strayed away from the shots on goal parlay recently, but these two feel like the right pairing for me to bring it back.

Draisaitl has been far worse on the road, where he is tonight, but I can't ignore his recent shot production and this 2.5 line.

I haven't seen Draisaitl down at 2.5 for quite some time, and this is partly a gut play when there are other quality options on Edmonton (Connor McDavid and Evander Kane).

Draisaitl has hit his SOG in four of his last five games, averaging 4.2 SOG and 8.0 attempts in the process.

Colorado is allowing 31.2 shots per game at home in its last 10, making the Avs a fine target. The Avalanche have also been spending a lot of time on the penalty kill, and Draisaitl operates at a high volume on the power play.

Meanwhile, Forsberg is a simple pick for me.

Forsberg has covered his SOG in 13 of his last 19 games and nine of his last 13 on the road. Anaheim is allowing 31.8 shots per game at home in its past 10. I like Forsberg's involvement in this offense.

Together, the parlay comes in at solid +165 odds.

Good luck tonight!
