NHL Saturday bets: Six shot props to target

We've made it to Saturday in the NHL, and there appears to be some terrific shot targets throughout the day's action.

From the 12:30 game to the 10:30 contest, I've got props that will keep us covered for all of Saturday.

Let's get to the six spots that stuck out to me this morning.

Mackenzie Weegar over 2.5 SOG (+120 DK)

We start on the Florida Panthers side, as they'll face the Devils this afternoon, a team letting up 32 shots per game at home in their past ten.

When scanning the loaded offensive attack of the Panthers, no one was really standing out.

I then got to Weegar, the top defensemen for Florida, and his volume is impressive. His 7.5 shot attempts per game in his last ten is by far the most on the team, and on the road, that number rises to 7.8 in his past five. Weegar has hit his SOG in five of seven overall and four of five on the road.

The Devils also rank highly to shots allowed to defensemen and are towards the bottom of shots blocked per game.

Plenty to like here, and I love the value to start the day.

Viktor Arvidsson over 3.5 SOG (+125 DK)

Arvidsson is back, and picking up steam.

He has 10 SOG in his last two games on 14 attempts, and is averaging 7.2 attempts per game since his return on March 24. Arvidsson has loved skating on away ice, hitting his SOG prop in 11 of his past 13 games.

Winnipeg is a tremendous target for shots, allowing 33.8 shots per game in their last ten and 37 in their past five at home.

Arvidsson had four SOG when these teams last met.

+125 feels like a gift.

Patrice Bergeron over 3.5 SOG (-110 DK)

Boston is in one of the smash spots of the day for both points and shots, as Columbus is allowing 37.3 shots per game on the road in their last ten.

Plenty to like, and I'm rolling with Bergeron, who has covered his shots prop in 11 of his past 14 home games.

Bergeron had six when the Bruins played the Blue Jackets last. Here's to him doing it again.

Ilya Mikheyev over 2.5 SOG (+105 DK)

Mikheyev has been bumped up to the second line in Toronto and has been much steadier with shots on the road.

Mikheyev had hit his SOG prop in six straight away games prior to finishing with two against Boston (a tough opponent).

He gets a softer matchup tonight against a Flyers team allowing 32.8 shots per game at home in their last 10. They've also been generous to left wing shots, so we load up Mikheyev at +105.

Logan Couture over 2.5 SOG (+125 DK)

I have loved targeting Dallas lately. They've been getting pummeled with shots and have consistently been letting centers cover their SOG prop.

The Stars are seeing 34 shots against them per game in their last ten on the road.

Couture has been rock-solid for San Jose lately at the center position. He's hit his SOG in nine of 10 games and three straight at home.

I will gladly take this at +125 in a favorable spot.

Roope Hintz over 2.5 SOG (-120 DK)

We stay in this game, as San Jose has been letting up the most shots per game to centers since the All Star break.

Hintz is coming off a zero-shot game, and I tend to like buying the bounce-back in spots like this.

Prior to the egg, Hintz hit his SOG in four of five on the road.

I like the target here and think Hintz can get us to three shots against the Sharks.

Best of luck tonight! We've had nice success here this week, and I say we keep it rolling. Enjoy the action!
