1993: Steve Larmer Adds to Blackhawks Legacy

On January 16, 1993, Steve Larmer became the third player to score 400 goals as a member of the Blackhawks, joining franchise legends Bobby Hull and Stan Mikita.

The 1992-93 season was Larmer's last campaign with the Blackhawks. His short-handed, empty-net tally to ice Chicago's 5-3 win over Toronto was his 29th goal of the season.

Larmer finished his Blackhawks career with 923 points (406 goals, 517 assists) in 891 regular-season games and 111 points (45 goals, 66 assists) in 107 games. After his time in Chicago, Larmer finished his NHL career playing two seasons with the New York Rangers.

2024: Blackhawks Extend Jason Dickinson

On January 16, 2024, the Blackhawks signed forward Jason Dickinson to a two-year contract extension carrying a $4.25 million annual salary cap hit.

Before signing the contract extension, Dickinson posted a career-high 14 goals and seven assists across 43 games in his second season with the Blackhawks.
