Panthers to wear amazing Tupac inspired warmup jerseys on Friday

The Florida Panthers are celebrating Black History Month on Friday by wearing special Tupac themed jerseys during warmups before their game against the Buffalo Sabres.

The jerseys were designed by artist Kenyani Watkins and inspired by his love of Tupac's music, as well as "The Rose That Grew from Concrete," a collection of poetry written by Tupac between 1989 and 1991.

Have a look at the jerseys, via the Panthers.

They look sharp.

The Panthers will be auctioning off the jerseys after Friday's game, with proceeds going to the Florida Panthers foundation.

Several NHL teams have (and are) wearing their own black history month jerseys inspired by local artists throughout February. The Panthers' jersey seems to be the one that has received the biggest positive feedback.

Here is a look at some others, including the San Jose Sharks and Dallas Stars.
