Chicago Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane is no stranger to reaching career milestones or climbing the record books. On Sunday afternoon the 33-year-old passed his former coach and Blackhawks great Denis Savard on the Blackhawks Franchise Assist leaderboard.

While the Blackhawks ultimately fell to the Florida Panthers by a final of 5-2, Patrick Kane factored into both of the scoring plays during the Sunday afternoon matinee. First showing up on the score sheet with an absolutely ridiculous behind-the-net goal.

Later on, in the 3rd period, Kane was awarded with the helper on a Caleb Jones tally that put the Blackhawks within one goal at the time. Kane, who now sits alone in second place in all-time franchise assists for the Blackhawks only has the legendary Stan Mikita ahead of him with 926 assists.
