Penguins goalie Tristan Jarry out at least one game; may have broken bone in foot?
The Pittsburgh Penguins continued their remarkable streak when they clinched a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for a 16th straight year via Thursday's 6-3 home win over the New York Islanders but may have encountered a frustrating setback during that game.
Per Chris Adamski of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and Shelly Anderson of Pittsburgh Hockey Now, Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan told reporters that first-choice goaltender Tristan Jarry won't be traveling with the club for the Saturday afternoon matchup at the Boston Bruins due to an unspecified lower-body injury.
Casey DeSmith is next up on the depth chart and should get the nod in Boston. It's expected Louis Domingue will be recalled from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League to serve as DeSmith's backup.
Jarry played all of Thursday's game but had his right leg slid into by Islanders forward Anders Lee in the third period of the contest. As is usually his style, Sullivan offered no specifics for when Jarry suffered the injury.

Some good news for the Penguins is they get a bit of rest after Saturday and won't take the ice again until they host Boston next Thursday.
According to ESPN stats, Jarry is 34-18-6 with a 2.42 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage across 58 games and 56 starts this season. DeSmith, meanwhile, is 8-4-5 with a 2.94 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage in 21 contests and 19 starts.
