ANAHEIM, Calif. — Tristan Jarry, who has missed the past four games because of an unspecified injury, was the first player on the ice for the Pittsburgh Penguins’ 50-minute practice at Honda Center Thursday afternoon.

He took shots from assistant coach Ty Hennes and goaltending coach Andy Chiodo before the full-team workout began, then stayed on for the session that followed.

Defenseman Jan Rutta, who also has been injured, was a full participant in the practice, too.

Indeed, everyone who is on this four-game road trip took part, and no one was wearing a no-contact jersey.

There were three goalies present, with Casey DeSmith and Dustin Tokarski joining Jarry.

Jarry and Tokarski split the workload in one net, while DeSmith had the other to himself.

It was not immediately known whether Tristan Jarry or Jan Rutta will be available to play when the Penguins face Anaheim Friday at 10:08 p.m. Eastern at Honda Center.

Personnel combinations

The Penguins stuck with the same forward combinations and defense pairings that they used in their 2-1 overtime victory against Colorado Tuesday:

Guentzel-Crosby-Rakell

Zucker-Malkin-Rust

McGinn-Carter-Kapanen

Poehling-Blueger-Archibald

(O’Connor)

Dumoulin-Letang

Pettersson-Petry

Joseph-Ruhwedel

(Friedman-Rutta)

No. 1 power play: Crosby, Letang, Malkin, Rakell, Guentzel

No. 2 power play: Zucker, Carter, Rust, Petry, Kapanen
