Stanley Cup Final best bets: Series-long props to consider

There is quite the menu of props available to bet on for the Stanley Cup Final, and it goes far beyond the typical player props offered to us. The menu is rich, and you'll want to explore your own sportsbooks to see all that's out there. Here are our three favorites.

Over 1.5 overtime games (+145 DK)

Now, this is just a fun one, but it feels like there's some science behind it too. Vegas and Florida seem relatively evenly matched, so why not bet on a few of these games going to overtime? The more the merrier when it comes to some OT contests in the Stanley Cup Final.

If any round is any indication, we may cash this nearly immediately. The first two games of both the Eastern and Western Conference Finals all went to overtime, and three of Vegas' six games against Dallas needing an extra frame to determine a winner.

Florida has had two overtimes in all three of their series up to this point. Here's to a clean sweep.

Most points in series: Aleksander Barkov (+490 FD)

The current favorite in this market is Matthew Tkachuk at +250, but the value here on Aleksander Barkov seems like a solid bet to us.

For one thing, we do like Florida to win this series, and they'll obviously need to find some goals to make that happen. Vegas has been far looser to goals allowed, seeing 31 goals against them the past two rounds compared to just 16 for Florida.

Barkov, the Panthers' top-line center, had five points in four games last round. He's thoroughly enjoyed seeing the Golden Knights the past few seasons, racking up 12 points over the past eight meetings. Should that production continue with his success last round, he seems like a very viable option to top this series in total points.

H2H goals: Jonathan Marchessault to score more goals than Carter Verhaeghe (-115 DK)

We're a bit surprised to see these two as a toss-up in DraftKings' head-to-head goals market. Marchessault has netted nine goals to Verhaeghe's six, and all nine of Marchessault's goals have come within the last 10 games.

The momentum is there, and Marchessault remains our dark horse favorite to win the Conn Smythe should Vegas win this series. We'll take him here to outscore the talented Florida forward.
