As Nikita Kucherov recorded a three-point night and Steven Stamkos added a goal and an assist, the Tampa Lightning trounced the Arizona Coyotes 6-3 on Jan. 25.

Kucherov, Stamkos, Darren Raddysh, Luke Glending, Mitchell Chaffee and Brayden Point all scored for the Lightning (26-18-5) who are 7-1 in their last eight games. Andrei Vasilevskiy collected 17 saves in the victory.

For Arizona, Lawson Crouse, Clayton Keller and Sean Durzi had goals for Arizona (23-21-3) as they have lost two straight games.

Just 24 seconds in, Raddysh fired a shot through multiple players who were screening Ingram and the puck trickled into the net for a 1-0 Lightning lead. Ingram gave up six goals on 37 shots.

Coming out of nowhere, Keller tied the game 1-1 by banging home a rebound off of an initial slapshot by Josh Brown 8:40 into the first period.

Scoring quickly at the beginning, Tampa regained the lead at the tail end of the first frame. Bursting in the offensive zone from the left, Brayden Point ripped a snapshot to make it 2-1 Tampa with only 0:34 left.

Stamkos would set up Kucherov who wired a one-timer on the ice, and beat Ingram underneath his leg pads. With his assist, Stamkos became the 66th player in NHL history to reach 1,100 career points.

Already reaching a monumental achievement, Stamkos scored with 7:58 left in the second period, igniting a 4-1 advantage.

History was made again in the contest, but the other time was from a rookie.

Chaffee chipped in with his first ever goal in the NHL with 4:42 in the middle frame. Chaffee was just recalled up to the Lightning from the Syracuse Crunch (AHL) on Wednesday.

Trying to claw out of a 5-1 hole, Durzi found a loose puck in front of Vasilevskiy and buried a shot 1:41 later.

Glendening grabbed another for Tampa before Crouse got one back as the Lightning won 6-3.
