There should be something for nearly everyone during Red Wings games during the upcoming season.

Among the giveaways this season are bobbleheads for old (Brendan Shanahan, Tomas Holmstrom) and new (Alex DeBrincat, Jake Walman) Red Wings players

The Shanahan bobblehead will be available for, appropriately enough, St. Patrick’s Day (March 16 vs. Buffalo). The  Joe Louis Arena speakers would blare an Irish Jig when Shanahan would score in his Detroit heyday. Holmstrom’s will be given out on Sweden Night (Nov. 9 vs. Buffalo).

Walman’s bobblehead will be available Jan, 21 vs. Tampa Bay, while DeBrincat’s bobblehead will be handed out on March 2 vs. Florida.

Something For All Red Wings Fans

There will be giveaways of things you’d expect (the Opening Night Rally Towel giveaway on Oct. 4 vs. Tampa Bay) and those you didn’t know you needed (like the Thanksgiving Eve Gravy Boat Giveaway Nov. 22 vs. New Jersey).

Fans can expand their wardrobes on Military Appreciation Night with a camo hat (Nov. 11 vs. Columbus), a knit hat (Nov. 26 vs. Minnesota) and the Ugly Sweater T-shirt giveaway on Dec. 22 vs. Philadelphia.

Three all-time favorite Red Wings will be honored on Hockey Heritage Night Stick Case Giveaways: Dominek Hasek (Dec. 14 vs. Carolina), Sergei Fedorov (Jan. 25 vs. Philadelphia) and Darren McCarty (Feb. 22 vs. Colorado, naturally).

Other giveaway nights include one honoring former goalie Mike Vernon’s entry into the Hockey Hall of Fame, including a mini-goalie mask giveaway (Dec. 9 vs. Ottawa), and something called the Mo Flow Grow a Hair giveaway on Jan. 11 vs. Edmonton.

One night that involves fan participation is Star Wars Night (Oct. 21 vs. Winnipeg), with no shortage of Darth Vaders, Princess Leias, and Luke Skywalkers roaming the corridors of Little Caesars Arena.

Tickets on sale

Tickets are available for all of those games, as well as 10-game and full-season ticket packages. Group tickets are also available.

The Red Wings also have travel packages available for the team’s two-game trip to Sweden Nov. 16-17 against Ottawa and Toronto, respectively.
